Our team is providing Mechanical Services and Construction to the Air Force at Shaw AFB. Under this design-build project, CBG replaces the HVAC systems serving Building 2449 with new hydronic Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems and dedicated outdoor air units with energy recovery.
The scope includes new refrigerant piping, a building automation system upgrade, new ceilings, and LED lighting throughout. The project is phased to keep the facility operational throughout construction. CBG’s in-house design team prepared the construction documents, and the Mechanical Services Division is self-performing the HVAC installation, resulting in a tightly coordinated, single-responsibility delivery.
