Max Brand founded Capital Brand Group, LLC and is responsible for the overall business development, company strategy, and growth. With over 15 years of construction experience, Mr. Brand has the knowledge and expertise from multiple disciplines in the construction industry to lead some of the most complex construction projects. He is also a leader in innovation and technology, which allows him to implement inventive strategies for his team and his clients.
Mr. Brand’s focus is primarily on the construction management and engineering divisions of the company. He is heavily involved in the daily operations and practices of the company; no project is too large or too small for his attention and involvement. Mr. Brand also has the keen ability to successfully manage teams, find efficient solutions, and is an expert at problem solving and processes.

Carla Brand
Vice President
Carla Brand co-founded Capital Brand Group, LLC and is responsible for the overall business operations and development of the company. With experience and an education in business management, she has the knowledge and resources to oversee the company’s daily operations, finances, human resources, and marketing strategies. Mrs. Brand also has extensive marketing and sales experience from small firms to Fortune 500 companies. Her diverse background equips her with the necessary skills to successfully develop and maintain strong client relations. Mrs. Brand is a passionate advocate for client satisfaction and excels at implementing strategies to provide exceptional client results.

Mohamed Abaza, PE, CEM, LEED AP, HBDP
Director of Engineering
Mohamed Abaza has over 22 years of experience in HVAC design, energy modeling, energy auditing, energy engineering, construction management, cost estimating, and facility assessments of green, energy-efficient buildings. Projects he’s worked on range from commercial buildings, hospitals, multi-family residential properties, schools and colleges to high-end, residential buildings, private residences, religious institutions, and hotels.
Mr. Abaza is responsible for the energy and sustainability division of the company in advising clients. In addition, he leads the design and construction team on green and energy-efficient designs and construction best practices, incorporating renewable energy implementation, and investigating financial, environmental, and social impacts. His experience and background provide him with the skills necessary to successfully manage full-program services for numerous projects including large-scale, multi-year, and multi-phase projects.
