CBG provided comprehensive Operations & Maintenance services to Adventist HealthCare at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland from 2015 to 2023. The 180-bed acute care hospital occupied a seven-building campus totaling 700,000 square feet, encompassing surgical suites, cardiac catheterization labs, nuclear medicine, MRI, pharmacy lab, behavioral health, a conference center, grounds, and an active helipad.
Operating in a fully regulated healthcare environment, CBG delivered 24/7 maintenance and repair of the campus’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems — infrastructure where uninterrupted performance directly supports patient care and clinical operations.
When the hospital ceased acute care operations in 2019, CBG remained on site — and in 2020 played a crucial role in returning the facility to service as a COVID-19 surge hospital. Our team restored and recommissioned existing building equipment, supported the design process to create negative-pressure areas for housing COVID-19 patients, and provided around-the-clock support throughout the facility’s pandemic response mission.
